After we left the garden we retraced our steps to an older part of Kethra that had less of the synthetic Skein tech and found ourselves a room to rest and make a plan of action.

I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were in danger, the abrasiveness and menace of the strange building seemed to stay with me like an echo. I can’t help thinking it is something to do with the Ministry of Alignment, but what I felt was more than just the strangeness of the fibres. There was something extremely threatening coming from there. Elyr says there was a strange flow to the resonance in the area and that there was a warning surrounding the building.

Neither of us could figure out what sort of warning, it was obviously being picked up by the other humans in the area as well as us and there were no Aethri around at all! Something wanted us to stay away from there!

We decided to rest in the inn for the evening and set out early in the morning to see what we could find out. We decided that we would stick to our original plan of going to the forge ring first as there is bound to be someone there who knows what that building is. And I really do want to get a look at the workshops. I hope I’ll be able to convince someone to let me have a tinker, I sometimes think better with something to fix or make.
