I set out to find answers , but the further I get from home, it seems like the more questions I find.

One good thing, though is that Tomsk’s friend Fiera has agreed to travel to Bern to try to help with the glitches they are experiencing, they are catching a sled most of the way so should be there in a day or two. Davin was over the moon when I messaged him to expect help!

We are still in the Aethri Token House, the Token Bearer, whose name Oriel, and the other Aethri here are being so friendly. They have given us the use of a little suite of visitor rooms and the Sodality says we are welcome to rest as long as we need to. Oriel explained that once a Kith group is formed the bond is as strong as family to humans and they said the Sodality can feel my presence as strongly as Elyr’s which makes me part of the Aethri and therefore I will be protected as long as I stay here and as long as I continue to do what feels right for harmony in the resonance.

I am not sure exactly what this means but I am happy to accept the kindness and shelter and Elyr assures me that I just need to keep being me for everything to be ok

We sat there talking in circles to try to figure out our next move. There is so much I don’t understand!

Why are the Ministry treating my repairs as acts of vandalism?

Are there others doing the same as me who are also being misunderstood?

Or worse are there others out there who are actually vandalising things?

Could any of this be related to the threadmapping we learned about from the Echo Keeper?

How is any of this related to the goose paths and the gold-backs?

After hours of talking about all of this, we decided that it is time to set out for Sylvara. It is not going to be an easy journey now the Ministry is on the lookout for us but Tomsk is insisting on coming along and his knowledge of the secret paths around Kethra could be just what we need to get away from here unnoticed. He seems quite keen to map further afield too so I think we have become a party of three. Four if you count Mouse, who, Elyr assures me is waiting just outside the city for us. I have no idea how they know, but I don’t doubt it.
